Dean has 20 years of experience in the practice of employment law and civil litigation. A member of the California Bar, Dean has represented employers and management in the defense of a wide variety of employment related cases, from sexual harassment to wrongful termination to wage-and-hour claims, as well as claims for unfair competition and misappropriation of trade secrets, among others.
Employers represented range from small proprietorships to large national corporations, including non-profit organizations and financial institutions, police and firefighter unions, and other public sector employee organizations. Dean’s experience covers both private and public sector employment law, state and federal employment law issues, and constitutional law. In addition, Dean is experienced in transactional matters, such as drafting employment contracts, independent contractor agreements, partnership agreements and employee handbooks.
